To comply with the qualifications outlined in "Taipei Exchange Directions for Compliance Requirements for the Appointment
and Exercise of Powers of the Boards of Directors of TPEx Listed Companies" and the company's "Corporate Governance
Best Practice Procedure", the company has appointed Damon Chao as the new Corporate Governance Officer. Damon Chao
is a special assistant at the company's headquarters. The appointment was approved by the board of directors on
August 5, 2018.

The qualifications stipulated in Article 23 of "Directions for Compliance Requirements for the Appointment and Exercise of Powers of the Boards of Directors of TPEx Listed Companies" outline the requirements for corporate governance officer:
They must possess professional qualifications as a lawyer or accountant, or have held positions in legal, financial, stock affairs or corporate governance-related units as specified in Article 21 of the "Key Points for Board of Directors" for at least three years in securities, finance, futures-related institutions or public companies.
